I always have taken photographs of my kids. But when they started to get annoyed of Mom and her camera, I switched to landscapes and flowers. For a few years, my Dad and I sold notecards and magnets of my images to make a little cash to help pay for my pharmacy education. My Dad would always find customers in his age group and tell them he was trying to put his 40 yr old daughter through college. This older group of customers sympathized with my Dad and always purchased some item. Once I graduated, my Dad became ill and was unable to help with our small craft fair business. I had taken the photo below of a co-worker as she walked down the aisle on her wedding day. Because of this beautiful bride, I received many inquiries about portrait sessions and thus the journey began...
